Report on First Nations Languages, Cultures and Technology Released

In partnership with colleagues and students at the iSchool@UBC, the Museum of Anthropology, the X̱wi7x̱wa Library and the Heiltsuk Cultural Education Centre, Associate Professor of Anthropology and Chair of the First Nations and Endangered Languages Program, Mark Turin, recently released a report entitled: Digital Access for Language and Culture in First Nations Communities. The work was funded through a Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada (SSHRC) Knowledge Synthesis Grant awarded in November 2015.
