Research Assistant, First Nations and Endangered Languages Program

Colleen Leung graduated from the UBC School of Audiology and Speech Sciences in 2015 with a Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology. Under the guidance of Dr. Patricia A. Shaw, Colleen helped develop a Tahltan language archive for and conducted fieldwork in Tahltan communities in northern British Columbia to support language documentation and revitalization initiatives. Currently, Colleen is collaborating with UBC Information Technology and the Musqueam Indian Band to develop an iOS app for the Musqueam language, hən̓q̓əmin̓əm̓.
